I’m happy to announce that I finally sat down and digitized my entire snowman sketchbook. For awhile I only had about 70% of it scanned. It was something I needed to do… obviously, but I always managed to kick the can down the road. There was no immediate deadline or demand so….
But now my hope is to find a publisher and release it to the world! Is there a market for sketchbook art books? Yes, to some degree, but I wouldn’t say that I saw too many examples. I guess it depends on the genre; fine art, comic book art, etc.
These last couple of weeks I was sending out prospectus’s to various book publishers and comic book companies. Fingers crossed! Hopefully someone finds it interesting and wants to work with me on it. Believe it or not, the sketchbook took twenty years to complete. Started and, strangely enough, finished at my mom’s house in Central Florida.
